Alas, WoW360 we barely knew ye.

Well, it seems that, as of patch 2.0 for the WoW API my mod no longer works (/sob). I haven’t played WoW in a while, but when I got a few emails regarding the fact that it’s defunct, I figured I’d log in and see if it might be a quick fix. Unfortunately, it looks like they’ve completely revamped the UI and most mods no longer work. Frankly, I think most of the changes are a step in the right direction as they are intended to eliminate the use of most “semi-botting” mods, of which decursive is the most notorious. The unfortunate byproduct is that it seems to no longer be possible to allow a script to select which spell to use, which is necessary for the combo system to work. Of course, the router program still works in that you can move around and jump, etc. but casting spells is now limited to binding each button to a spell (which doesn’t leave much variety). Of course, there’s always the option to move the combo system out into the router itself, which might make for a cleaner interface, but I think it’d be more work than it’s worth.
If anyone has any ideas for how to revive the app, lemme know, or feel free to do it yourself (the source code is posted just a few entries down).

Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that this project is now dead, I’ve finally acquired a game pad and saw this mod, it looks to be something very great, and it saddens me a great deal to see that it is now dead… /sob

i suppose if you took a different approach to it, you could come at some of the functionality. namely, with the addition of modifier commands to macros, and with some intelligent macroing within the new system, you could probably reduce your key functions down to 4 (or 6) basic buttons. arent there 4 shoulder buttons? if so, map 3 of them to ctrl, shift, and alt for 3 modifiers for each button, and map the fourth to another spot where you can put autoattack, or another button.
it might work, and you could just do a simple button for button remap. the difficulty would lie then in creating intelligent and elaborate macros to drop in those slots.

If it still works running around and such, is it possible to make it press the hotkey of your current shortcut bar? If I make a macro for slot 2 that fits WoW’s new macro scheme it will roll through several spells, I just have to press the 2 slot several times. Any way it can be edited to assign other hotkeys (i.e. map, talents, etc)?
